Gerald Coulson is a man who has never had an art lesson in his life and yet has created an international reputation as an artist of infinite sensitivity. His talent is such that he has the ability to create an image on canvas of aircraft in flight; or a landscape which leaves the viewer with a feeling that they could fall into the picture. His work is highly sought after and ‘The Fine Art Trade Guild’ have placed him among the top 10 best selling UK artists no less than 15 times in 12 years. Although highly regarded for his skill of replicating aircraft on canvas, Gerald also used his knowledge of flying to great affect on his landscapes. Lawrence Coulson Lawrence Coulson follows the tradition of the great British landscape painters. Having been inspirted to start painting by his father Gerald (himself one of the most important landscape and aviation painters of the twentieth century) Lawrence grew up surrounded by his father’s evocative landscape paintings.
