This collection of fine art limited edition prints embodies all that my work has come to stand for. It encompasses everything I have discovered about the portrayal of light and tone which enables me to convey the rich variety of the British landscape. By re-introducing more rural scenes, together with woodland pieces I am able to indulge myself with the richly detailed undergrowth and foliage in the foregrounds of the paintings. This detail complements the power and drama of the skies that hold such a fascination for me. Each piece is individually atmospheric; but the collection hangs together as a cohesive body of work.

I continue to strive for that elusive thing; the perfect painting and I’m constantly experimenting with new techniques. It’s this pursuit that drives me and makes my work come alive. The perfect painting may never happen, but the challenge makes the journey all the more enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this body of work and I hope that you can feel my sense of pride that I felt whilst painting it.
